  • PART II: ON-THE-JOB EXPOSURE

  • Schedule

    The proposed schedule is subject to the consideration and approval of the Youth Guarantee administrators. It is permissible to have a maximum of 40 hours per week of On-the-Job Exposure. Where the working day is longer than six hours, an employee is entitled to not less than fifteen minutes of rest a day without pay, unless a longer period of rest is provided by any other regulation or agreements. If on shift, Legal Notice 440/2-3 Minors applies - No work is to be carried out during the night, that is, the period between ten o'clock in the evening and six o'clock in the morning, unless there is a justification that merits exemption. There may be exemptions in the sectors of shipping and fishing, hospitals or similar institutions and in cultural, artistic, sports or advertising activities.
  • PART III: TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • This scheme aims to enhance the Trainee's skills and career prospects through practical experience. Applying for the scheme does not guarantee a placement. Jobsplus will issue an agreement only after a successful matching process. Backdated agreements are not accepted. At the time of application, prospective Trainees must be up to 29 years of age, and not currently enrolled in any education, employment or training. The duration of the On-the-Job exposure and the remuneration paid to the Trainee are based on the selected occupation. Throughout the duration of the scheme, Trainees are monitored, and a feedback and evaluation process is in place to assess their performance and progress. Both the Trainee and the On-the-Job Exposure Provider have specific responsibilities to ensure a successful placement. By participating in this scheme, Trainees commit to developing their professional abilities and contributing positively to their work environment.
