  • TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    1. Interested individuals looking to become mentors must be of pensionable age (65+).
    2. To help ensure a successful mentoring process, eligible applicants will be requested to complete a training programme organised by Jobsplus before they can start offering mentoring services. This will cover essential mentoring skills, ethical guidelines and service procedures. Applicants who have previously completed equivalent training may be exempt from this requirement, subject to verification of their certification.
    3. Mentors will be matched with potential employers requesting mentoring services based on their skills, experience and availability.
    4. Before commencing any mentoring activities, mentors and the employer requesting the service must sign an agreement issued by Jobsplus. The mentorship agreement will outline the responsibilities, expectations, and terms of engagement for the mentor and the employer making use of the service.
    5. The Mentor may not disclose any internal practices, proprietary information, patents, trade secrets, or client details to other employers within the same sector or otherwise, both during and after the mentoring engagement.
    6. Each mentor is allowed to provide a maximum of 40 hours of mentoring for every assigned mentee. A mentor may not be assigned more than one mentee at any given time. Approval from Jobsplus and a separate agreement is required for each assigned mentee.
    7. Mentoring sessions can be conducted in person, online or a combination of both as agreed upon by both mentor and mentee. No sessions shall be held on public holidays.
    8. Mentors will be paid at a rate of €35 per hour. Payments will be processed by Jobsplus at the end of the mentorship phase, based on the hours logged and approved by the employer. The attendance sheet to be used for logging the hours will be provided by Jobsplus, following signing of the Agreement.
    9. All mentors must maintain the confidentiality of any information shared by mentees during the mentoring sessions. Any breach of confidentiality will result in immediate termination of the mentorship agreement.
    10. Either party may terminate the mentorship agreement with a written notice of 3 days. In the event of termination, mentors will be paid for the hours worked up to the termination date.
